Who We Are
aequanimis was founded as a family business by Kasia with the support of her sister Maja.
The sisters were born and raised near the coast of the Baltic Sea in Koszalin, Poland, where more than two decades ago their journey with horses began and - at that point rather intuitively - triggered an interest in personal development.
Since the foundation, two assiociates - Katharina and Anne - have joined aequanimis and supported the team during workshops.
Kasia Auber
Founder
Kasia has lived in Munich since 2005. During her studies, she travelled through Europe working as a horse trainer. She graduated from the LMU University of Munich with an M.A. in linguistics and economics. Within the last decade, Kasia has gained significant experience working for small businesses and corporations in the area of digital transformation and customer relations, partnering with global F500 companies.
At aequanimis, Kasia leads sessions at both our locations in English, German, Italian and Polish, during which she applies her knowledge of the human and equine nature, humanistic and positive psychology, mindfulness and philosophy.
Maja Szokalska
Equine Expert & Associate Coach
Maja graduated from WSJO in Poznań with a B.A. in Spanish and is currently studying to become a construction engineer. She has 15 years of experience in stable management and horse ownership, which allows her to combine her passion for professional equitation with her mission to provide shelter and dignified life to elderly and sick horses as well as rescue dogs. Maja is also a qualified horse riding trainer and equine physiotherapist.
At aequanimis, Maja puts her extensive knowledge of the equine nature and interpersonal skills into practice assisting in the team workshop facilitation at our location in Poland.
